I don't think I have anything monitoring my connections and im pretty sure steam doesnt close while I play. Im not sure if it only happens on csgo since its the only game I really play with friends. You can also fix it by hiding your in game status, just go to Profile > Edit Profile > My Privacy Settings > Game details. Im guessing they wouldn't want to turn off their notifications just cause of me so is there no way to fix this and ill just have to let it happen? I see, does it happen only in CS:GO? No you have anything to monitor your conections? Maybe you get offline a micro second for Steam then come online again, causing a notification.
